But, I want to do everything!

There is wise counsel that say you can&';t do everything. You&';ll burn yourself out. Others will feel like they can never do anything because you&';re trying to do it all.
That is wise counsel. But, I still want to do lots of different things. And, there are a lot of different things that I do well. People learn that I&';m a computer consultant. Then, they find out that I&';m also an author. They assume that I write lots of computer books. I do write books about computers. But, I write a lot more books about other things. OK. Then, they assume that I only write reference books. I actually write more Fantasy, Fiction, Science Fiction, Romance, and Children's Books than reference books. And, if I do say so, I&';m quite good at it.
Every time I fill out a job application, they ask what I majored in in College. I had three majors. There&';s only room for one on the application.

But, how do I state what I do concisely? There&';s the kicker. But first, you need to ask yourself why you&';re passionate about doing everything? Is it because you feel obligated or compelled to do that? Is it because if you don&';t do that, it won&';t get done? Is it because that task always falls to you and you&';re good at it? Or, is it because you get lots of joy from doing each of those things?
